Mornings are worse for most. I think it relates to dinural cycles, as well as the timing of meals the previous day. I would always have 3-4 bm before getting out of the house. but was usually good during the work day.
This was my pattern during the flare, too. All would have a lot of mucus and some blood.
BUT after the meds began working and healing started I developed constipation, and several times went 3-4 days without a BM. I was super worried that it was inflammation causing a "back up" and I was getting worse and not better.......but that turned out to be wrong.
I am now back on 1-2 movements a morning ---formed and clear of anything weird. And my latest scope report was clear of active UC.
2008 acute proctitis, 2016 chronic UC
