Thanks so much for your detailed explanation! Yes, I do eat carefully like you said. The other problem is, I was sure I had histamine intolerance (I am not diagnosed as of yet, I read it is difficult to diagnose, and I'm still searching for a qualified practitioner here who can examine and diagnose me about
this. But I do have elevated IgE level - done by blood test) - I highly suspected histamine intolerance because when I try to eliminate some high histamine foods I feel better with my tonsilitis go down (I had allergy issues since childhood). I currently have long standing tonsilitis with ulcers. I told my ENT docs not to give me antibiotic because it aggravated my GERD and constipation.
So the food limiting are both from colitis (diagosed) and histamine (undiagnosed yet - highly suspected though, by myself). But sometimes I eat histamine foods when I feel my 'histamine bucket' is somewhat empty, so that I can get more nutrients. Although this is difficult too as I read that histamine reaction could be delayed for days.
My yesterday blood sugar and insulin were all low too. 2 docs said the same (my diet and psychosomatic - I'm free from psych meds after 17 years in April - strongly suspected weight loss from this one too).
Taking antihistamine doesn't help either - I'm allergic to it. Any suggestions? Thanks again for your help.
