Hey friends - 54 weeks after my biggest flare, and two rounds of pred with EXCEEDINGLY slow taper this last time, has brought me into----dare I say it? Remission. I drink coffee. I go out in the car. I eat food.

Almost got there in April at 2.5 and busted into renewed symptoms.....doc let me pop back up and try pred again at 20 and here we are. But I am done. 25 pounds up on a 5 foot frame and whatever bird bones I have now. No more.

I welcome all the good energy in the universe as I am finishing the pred this week! You don't even have to reply, just put out the vibes that I stay happy and healthy. Next step is straight into Humira, which is ok if that's the case, but I think I've bought myself some more time.

While I truly believe it was just my body deciding to heal, I did the following: Turmeric capsules 1x day for last 3 months; about 1.5 months of Isatis Cooling; glutamine powder in the AM for 3 months; stuck with Renew Life 50 Billion probiotic; kefir and banana in nutrabullit in the AM.

Great support on this board and 1) hang in there if you're flaring and 2) cheers to everyone doing well.
