As an Oklahoma fan it's hard for me to give credit to any other team but I have a new respect for big time quarterback for the number one ranked Clemson Tigers Kelly Bryant. I just watched a piece on him that said he had to get emergency surgery when he was in high school.after discovering he had Crohn's disease. Now he's got his team as the favorite to win the national championship. I have a huge respect for athletes, anyone really, that are able to overcome ibd and achieve these kinds of things. Just thought I'd share as a little inspiration as I know o get down a lot in that I won't be able to accomplish things I've always wanted to do. He gives me a little inspiration.

Happy new year all!

It is a major triumph when someone has IBD and then reaches fame through any kind of sport.

I looked at the list of celebs with IBD and it's kinda good to know that we are not alone.

I always find people who overcome such difficult situations to be a huge inspiration. I guess it means a lot more to us because we know what it all entails. I wish no one ever had to deal with such adversities.
