Wow that's crazy. I bet that packet somehow got underneath the bun of a burger and she ate it without knowing. I could see that happening in a fast food restaurant, or everything gopt jumbled together in the bag you take the food home in...

I hope you don't mind that I re-posted this article on the Crohn's forum lol.

I can notice the smallest thing in my food. I definitely couldn't ingest an entire packet of ketchup without noticing. I will seriously find an itty bitty bone fragment in a piece of fish.

Me too! Unless I'm cooking the food, I go through everything that I eat.

Fast food is meant to be eaten, well fast. It's not a delicacy meant to be savored and gently nibbled at, while you are serenaded by live musicians and sip wine lol. Rather, you eat your greasy burger while driving, switching lanes, and while giving other drivers the finger due to your perceived offense at THEIR bad driving (more likely from your inattention!). Could a whole ketchup packet disappear then, sure turn

What boggles my mind is that in 6 years she did not get a CT scan or anything that would have revealed this. They just diagnosed her with CD and sent her on her merry way???

Imagine finding out that you can be cured by simply removing a ketchup packet!

If only when they scope me they find a gum wrapper or something and I am cured forever. I'll take it.
