I've been drinking celery juice plain and seems like my symptoms have improved over the past week. I drink it at room temperature and do not mix it with anything. I am not on any meds right now. Has anyone tried celery and seen any benefits?
Thanks.

Yes, I sometimes drink celery juice plain on an empty stomach. It helps relieve symptoms that may be gradually creeping up. It is supposed to reinforce your stomach's HCL so food is more completely digested. I dunno, except that it seems to help.

Just made some celery juice cuz I have some organic celery and never end up using it all before it goes limp. Solution=juice some of it before time gets away haha.

Wow what a color of green celery juice is. I added some seltzer water and it felt like I was at the juice bar at a spa (where I've never been--spa I mean). Froze the rest as ice cubes. My gut is always happy with veggie juice so thanks for the idea. I should do it more often.

Why celery juice, specifically? Are there any research or studies that prompted this?

I am sure somebody can find studies where celery juice helps. Just as I am sure there are even more studies indicating that celery juice doesn't help at all.

All I know is that when I drink it on an empty stomach it is yet another supplement that prevents symptoms from building up.

I heard that celery juice doesn't affect colon directly but that it has minerals that fix (raise) stomach acid so that stomach works properly. By stomach working correctly and having good acid levels stomach will kill off new bad bacteria entering the body and properly digesting food.

But I have heard this from doctors on youtube, I haven't seen studies. But still MD who have lots of patients that have been helped with celery juice is still something worth exploring and see if that works for you or not.

I have been drinking celery juice for last 2-3 weeks. So far I have seen none big change, things are stable (medium flare), not getting better or worse for now.

I have heard that it is anti-inflammatory.

Is this another "Medical Medium" thing? Everyone and their dog is talking about drinking celery juice for their diseases online. It's starting to make me worried for people's sanity.

It's a really great juice if you can tolerate it. Very high in minerals, and especially the essential minerals to regulate the gut environment. For me, fresh juices in any quantity are laxative. It doesn't matter if I add some water to water them down or take them with food. They increase my BMs.
