I see you are lactose intolerant, does that manifest in looser BM's or does it cause all-over problems? Maybe a bit of lactose would move things along (plain yogurt perhaps). Also perhaps some beneficial probiotic bacteria via capsules or VSL#3 would help.
Glad your doc didn't suggest fiber since an underactive gut could get even less active.
Have you tried enemas? There are the retention type (mesalamine) which really help and then there is the stimulating type which are used to relieve constipation. Both could help you, but not on the same day of course.
