My suggestion to make the prep more bearable is to chase every sip/glass with lemonade, clear Gaterade, frozen lemon ice, popsicles or something else and to drink the prep as cold as possible. You will be pooping for a long time. Sometimes they have you drink half the night before and half the morning of.
Procedure itself takes about
30 minutes and you wont remember a thing afterwards. Enjoy the nap.
If you have to pass gas afterwards, do it. It is typical to be gassy afterwards and if you hold it in, that can be painful later on. It is normal for them to take biopsies.
You'll be okay. For most people, IBD is very manageable. Most of the people posting here are probably the sicker percentage. The rest are out living their lives.

Healthy since Dec. 25, 2016 until I started smoking May 2018. 30 mg pred. Trying to re-quit smoking. Maintenance meds: Delzicol, 6, 2xday; Rowasa nightly; Singular & Allegra for allergies; Xanax
