This forum has numerous accounts of flares beginning right after a colonoscopy. I was deep into remission when I decided that I needed a colonoscopy since it had been some time since my last one. Soon I started having diahrrea again.

Getting back to your maintenance meds and as Q suggested, adding some enemas, should help you to quickly return to remission.
