I am sorry you're dealing with inflammation. Good luck with the test tomorrow. Maybe you can do a dose adjustment or increase the frequency? I guess over time people with more severe disease deal with some permanent changes to their colon, and that can contribute to this urgency you're experiencing. Have you had a scope recently at all? or a calprotectin? Blood work is pretty vague. I've had moderate/severe flares and had no changes in my blood. That said, urgency is my least favorite of all UC symptoms and the one I am least able to tolerate. You have a lot of options, so don't stress. Are you using rectals or anything? If you have't been scoped in a long time, it's a good idea to have scopes yearly after 10 years, you're past 10... If you got scoped you would know what's going on, and you could treat accordingly.
