Constipation is part of a flare....meaning it depends on where the inflammation is limited within the rectum.
You can increase bulking foods of soft fibre so that your stool will be softer. As well adding fibre supplements with meals is helpful. I increase fruits or add more vitamin C.
Trial and more trial. Are you having lots of gas or cramping? If so, asking your doc for an antispasmodic will help.
