How long do you think it takes for Suprep to kick in?
I'm trying to decide if I want to go somewhere tonight after taking my first dose. I will be near a bathroom but wondering if I could survive a few hours out of the house after that first dose smile

I think it's individual. It usually takes a long time for stuff to kick in for me. That said, i would never take a prep and leave my house. Too risky!

I agree. It’s kind of risky to leave the house after prepping. For me, the SuPrep kicks in around an hour or so.

I wouldn't risk it. A colonoscopy prep is a bit unpredictable and when it hits, you need a bathroom urgent and the sounds and everything about that process are just awful. Rather be in my own bathroom and not be worried about literally blowing up a nice public bathroom with potentially neighbors in the next stall lol.

I’m taking Suprep later today at 6pm and then again at 1am for a 7am scope. Personally from the time of taking the Suprep I’d focus on the getting the prep done properly, drinking lots of water and etc.

I just took it 20 mins ago and I’ve been sat on the toilet for the past 15 mins peeing out water from my butt. I’d not leave home if I were you.

update: I ended up bowling. Took about 4 hours for my first movement. Tolerated Suprep great! It all came out well, lol. Seriously though- true story. And my bowl movement were well controlled in my situation. Thank you for everyone's opinion on the subject!
