First off, there is no non-ridiculous way of describing this problem so I'm just going to state it directly.
I usually use one salofalk suppository each day (1g) and have never had any problems with them. However, when I went to the pharmacy this time to stock up they gave me pentasa suppositories instead. The active ingredient and dose are identical so there should be no problems. However, I am having trouble with the... insertion. With the salofalk this is never a problem due, I think, to the conical shape and waxy nature of the suppository. But the pentasa suppositories are harder and shaped more like a pill; I am struggling to get them to go far enough in the right direction, as it were.
Anyone have any tips? Am I doing someting wrong? I don't want to waste them as I have a full box and they were pretty expensive.
