So, I noticed that those melamine enema bottles have a recycle symbol on the bottom. Anybody actually fill up his/her recycle bin with them? In a way I feel guilty for the mound of those things in my local landfill, yet I cannot imagine rinsing and throwing them in my recycle bin; so embarrassing! So in the trash they go!

Is it unpatriotic to wipe your bumm with George Washington bills if there's no tp in a stall and you're otherwise in dire-straights? I think George would understand...

I have always tossed them, but I suppose I could wash them and recycle. Never even thought about it.

I think our garbaged gets trucked up to Vermont landfills from NY (most of our landfills are either full or closed). So mine used bottles are probably somewhere near your used bottles.

I never recycled them. sad I would have if I knew...
No one sees my trash or recycling, except the garbage pickers, and I wouldn't care if they knew I tossed enemas. Who is looking in your trash?

The worst is ostomy stuff because it can be smelly, like a diaper. I would have to run that out immediately to the trash bin. I imagine the trash pickers finding one of those poop bombs in there. hehe, not cool!!!

We have a washed only policy with our recycling, but I think I will start cleaning mine out and recycling them. I always recycle the box and the plastic inner part.
