Seems the normal waiting process for an appointment. Here, one would wait for a month to just get the notice of referral and another 3 -6 months for the appointment.
UC is doing good....but body pain for the most part has been an issue (switched to Cymbalta from Effexor XR..worse pain...back on Effexor) and recently gastritis from probably a virus I picked up that lasted 4 weeks. Unrelenting nausea, periodic chills and stomach and upper gut cramping. Doc thought flare....I knew it wasnt, but increased meds anyway. No help. Increased zantac and started a PPI.
Was on a steady dose of dicyclomine and Gravol and gravol ginger . Nixed coffee (for regular and ginger tea), and oranges in the morning. All seems normal now, finally. It was exhausting and I don't handle nausea too well (whiney) 🙄. I'm still waiting for the h. Pylori test result. He might set me up for an upper scope earlier than my c-scope in June.
I'll wait another month before stopping the PPI. I'm truly hoping for that long break....seriously hard on my psyche. High point, no cold yet.
*Heather* I give suggestions, do with them what you will.
