I tried Wellbutrin before and it seemed to help a little, but 30mg of Cymbalta once a day has been the game changer for pain!!i noticed after the first morning of taking the first pill, it was that quick with helping the pain I get in my gut and bum hole when I go to the bathroom.
This along with nightly enemas is a great combo for me.I’m able to make it through the day without crying.
I’ve tried lexapro, Wellbutrin and now this and it’s the best!
I now take it in the AM too, started in PM as it made me tired for the first week, then insomnia came, so I switched to morning.
I take 1mg of melatonin at night (helps with my hot flashes as well as relaxation) and I wake up more happy than irritated. Also, I added a one a day vitamin by Kirtland, no gut issues with this multi!!! Finally.
I hope others might consider cymbalta , if they are in constant pain like I was.

My UC flared when I took Cymbalta years ago, but I'm happy it is helping you!

I'm also taking cymbalta for pain and it seems to also benefit my UC (maybe coincidence) and I no longer get bouts of depression. I like the drug but can only tolerate 30mg due to restless legs at higher doses. I'd prefer not to be on it but will continue for now. Glad it is working so well for you.
