I would have my colon out asap...i know of a few non-Ucers who had partial and ended up dead in less than 5 years. I can't see wanting to save an already diseased colon if cancer has entered the game. But that's my logic....others probably would disagree.
Hyperplasia are most often benign and not precancerous...pseudopolyps is the usual label for those growths. Being monitored and having them removed is a usual thing.
Inform your family members and suggest they be screened.
