Hi I am new on this forum I'll explain what is going on with me.3 years ago I had surgery for my RP the doctor went into stomach took out a foot of colon and reattached back to my anus and secured it with mesh to my pelvis.it was a successful surgery. For the last two months I have been dealing with the curse of my rectal prolapse difficult to go to the bathroom I got severly backed up I had to sometimes put a glove on feel for the hole and try to get the poop out and position so it was facing down I've been on stool softeners after my surgery long story short I found out that I have ulcerated colitis I'm on 2 antibiotics I was told they can't do another surgery I am 64 I'm going to find some help we are talking quality of life it's getting more difficult to keep the prolapse to stay in please I need some feedback can I get another surgery I'm suffering had to stop working please get back to me. iorumvdm

Irene, I’m sorry that you are going through this difficult time. I wish I had something helpful to say but I don’t. Hoped your doctor will be able to figure out a solution for you.
