Start the rowasa.
You should not be taking NSAIDs like Aleve on a regular basis as an UC patient. That is not recommended as NSAIDs can worsen our symptoms. Only take tylenol. If you must take a form of NSAID on a regular basis then please discuss the safer Celebrex (Celebrex only inhibits COX 2, where as Other NSAIDs inhibit both COX 1 and COX 2). Depending on where you live, there might be more COX2-only inhibitors available.
