Well today I have given up my Xeljanz for 7 plus days before my surgery on my knee replacement next week.
So its with some trepidation that I look forward as this biologic has made such a difference to me and Im sure going to miss it.
I hope that maybe some Imodium can help fill the gap on a temporary basis .

I hope things stay nice and stable for the next 7+ days. Can you start up immediately after the surgery, or do you have to wait a bit longer while you heal?

Is it something you can stop and start again, or do you build antibodies?

Antibodies are impossible with xeljanz. As xeljanz is a tiny inside the cell molecule, and antibodies work against large cell-surface proteins. Where as Remicade and entyvio are large cell-surface proteins that are, themselves monoclonal antibodies. And the immune system can create antibodies against other antibodies.

Well tomorrow is surgery day for my TKR and that will be 7 days without using Xeljanz.
So far things have been going well without it although I did take an imodium a couple of days ago with the approval of my GI.
