Thank you so much for all the replies. I just got the call from my gastro that all biopsies came back normal with a few showing inflammation. She is recommending me to another gastro in her practice who specializes in IBD. Even though the "suspicious" area came back as simply inflammation, she wants me to show the Ulcerative Colitis gastro the photos of the colonoscopy. I'm a little frustrated that I spent the last few days worrying. The way she presented everything following the colonoscopy was in a very alarmist fashion (I guess from her inexperience with UC).
I will be switching medications a bit to find the right mix. Thanks for listening!
@*Jen* - Your story really does sound similar to mine! I always take some sort of rectal mesalamine (whether enemas or suppositories). I might increase it to once in the morning and once at night until things resolve. Thanks for the heads up about
children... It's in the future hopefully (but not so near future. lol).

Ulcerative pancolitis dx 2004 (age 13)
Inflammation now mostly at rectum and some around cecum
Now on Balsalazide (9 pills a day) and Mesalamine enemas and suppositories
Remission from Asacol until 2012 (21)
2 Flares in 2012 and 2016 - 6MP, prednisone, (tapered after a few months)
