I have recently started taking 5HTP (200mg per day) coupled vitamin B6. I am sure it has made a dramatic improvement to my mood and energy levels and in a very short space of time as well.
I read something saying that there are suspect links between low 5HT, low serotonin, and onset of IBD. However I also read something else saying that those with IBD should avoid taking 5HTP supplements.
Does anyone have any experience with this or similar supplements? Any positive or negative experiences? Thanks!
