I don't think anyone trashes alternative medicine. In fact, we include a post in the UC FAQs area that goes through a lot of the alternatives people have tried. I am perfectly
open to alternatives, I do however question the lack of oversight in the supplement industry in general. There is no way to confirm the accuracy of the claims made by these products, companies or the claims of the users of these products, and furthermore, there is really no way to know they contain the ingredients listed.
