Does anyone know why I would have high B12 levels? I’m on Remicade and Uceris foam.

Did you have other bloodwork done? If so, was the rest all normal?

Many staple food items now come with added B-vitamins so that your blood tests can result high for Bs if you also take a daily multivitamin. That happened to me a while back. Docs tend not to worry about
excess Bs because they are supposedly excreted by the body without side effects; however, more recent research indicates that the excess may contribute to frequent urination. When I found out about
that, I switched my multivitamin to every other day, which gave my subsequent blood tests "normal range" results for B-12 + all the other B-vitamins as well. Take care to read food labels for additives & also beware of supplements. / Old Hat (39 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)

Hi, my B12 levels went up too 6 months ago. A second test a few weeks ago, the number dropped but is still considered high. I thought it was the Mesalamine increase, but not too sure about
that. I changed vitamins and cut down on certain foods high in the B vitamins in the last 6 weeks. But I am thinking about
cutting back on the vitamins as my flare is under control, and I may not need extra vitamins cause I am eating better. Also, I am peeing yellow still and wonder if it's the vitamins.

Useeder...What is the level result?
My b12 is 1200 - 1400ish continually. I do have autoimmune liver disease, so we're assuming that's possibly why.
