Not normal to have stomach pain.

We can have a variety of abdominal pains during flares, some related to our flare and others not. Inflammation from our UC can cause pains from dull aches to sharp knife-stabbing pains. We can have mild trapped as pains. We can have pancreatitis which can be extremely painful, and we have higher odds of this. We can have big vein blood clots like a PE or DVT. We can have kidney stones, gall stones, and our female friends can have various complications pains that a OBGYN would have to diagnose. We can have intestinal muscle spasms, which is painful and bentyl and other similar prescriptions will treat it. Certainly do talk to a doctor or nurse who can better diagnose your issue than we can here.

I get really bad pain with my flares. Is this typical for your flares or something new?
