Normal to be focussed on the most intrusive thing in one's life. As you improve, your anxiety and worry will hopefully lessen. Plus, we're in a world health crisis with our lives forced into change and limitations.

There are supplements and meds and relaxation techniques etc

Brain-fog is a common side effect during flares. Prednisone can make brain-fog worse.

You can try Piracetam:

It works but do not expect miracles.

You are not the only one. Many are reporting this and my guess is stay-at-home is the reason. We are not used to being cooped up inside so I started doing WiiFit with my son.

My solution is to walk for 45 minutes. I get brain fog from digestive issues, and stress from watching too much COVID 19 news. I also was very anxious on prednisone and walking helped me then too.
