I don't take iron supplements so I am not sure what supplement is best. Chelated iron? I dunno.
But I do know that vitamin C helps your body to absorb iron. And many people who are anemic sometimes take synergistic supplements along with iron, such as folic acid (the natural form of folic acid 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF)),
And the natural form of vitamin B12 which is methylcobalamin.
