Do you have any rectal meds you can use? You might wait a day or two and see if it continues and if it does definitely call your dr. If it is a flare it’s best to catch it early.

Could be a flare, could be a hemorrhoid. For any consist change in your bowel symptoms, do report to your gasteroenterologist. He/she might run an Inflammation test like Calprotectin stool test or C-Reactive Protein blood test for a flare. Alternatively get an over-the-counter hemorrhoid treatment. As there's a chance it's just roids.

If it is indeed a flare, then you may be able to get it under control by increasing your dosage. My husband has been at 20 mg/day for 4 years with no issues. He started to get symptoms when he’d tried to lower the dosage, so he stays at 20.

Im also on 20 mg per day and have no problems, started March 19 2019.
I went down to 15 mg for a short while but found it did not always hold me.

I've managed to stay put on 10mg, but only by adding in mesalazine enemas.
Any bleeding needs to be assessed by the GI.
