My GI believes I may have a case of enthesitis (inflammation of the tendon sheaths). Has anyone had that as an extra-intestional manifestation of UC?

Heck, I've never even heard of it. The lovely one I get constantly is uveitis.

What are your symptoms and do you have any particular areas that are problematic? When I tapered off of pred in 2019 I was left with pretty severe pain in my Achilles first thing in the morning. It took about 5-10 minutes of careful stretching before I could stretch it out and walk. My gi figured it was from tapering pred and it has mainly passed, but every know and then I wake up with a milder version of that pain again.
