Vomiting After Mag. Citrate

Looking for some advice....I drank a 300 ml bottle of magnesium citrate because I have a sigmoidoscopy tomorrow morning. After 2 hours of drinking it, I threw up (only once so far). I’m worried I won’t be cleaned out enough now....

I am assuming you diluted that. If not, that could be the reason.

I usually dilute 1 bottle of Mag citrate laxative with 3 bottles of drinking water and drink that over a period of 2 hours first thing in the morning. Diarrhea starts around noon and done by the end of the day.

Ugh I didn’t dilute. Now I feel dumb. My prep instructions were to drink 3 cups of water 3 hours before and then 3 cups of water after drinking the prep. Thanks for the response.

Don't feel dumb, I used to use that stuff as my prep and was never told to dilute it.

This was my second time using it. Last time was in 2014! I never had problems then. Oh well, now I know for next time!
