I just got the call this morning that I will start Xeljanz in the next few days. I was on Remicade before and got 7 years of remission. It stopped working around July. We tried doubling my dose and frequency of infusions but didn’t work sad I currently have moderate inflammation so hopefully this new med will kick it in the butt!! Anyone had long remisson on this med? Any bad side effects?

Noone has a long remission on xeljanz because it's a new drug... suzyq's husband was in a clinic trial and has a 4-year remission (and counting). I've been on it 18 months and still doing well - fingers crossed

I am coming up on three months. Still at higher dose, not flare free. That has been my mo on pretty much every medication, though. Only thing is it took me longer to kick a cold.
