I have been perfect fine going to the toilet normal but the last two or three days I have noticed my stool are really dark. Ever since I had a nutri-bullet for about a week I was drinking smoothies containing blue berries, spinach and kale, lot of broccoli. I have tried to ween myself of and go back to the old diet. Do you think my diet is playing a apart.

Definitely. The only way to tell is eliminate them for at least 2 or 3 days.

Quincy:

That's what I'm going to do eliminate them for about a week but still eat healthy.

I think all 3 of those foods would make your stool dark but not really sure that’s a bad thing? Did you have any other symptoms? Maybe cut back so it’s not every single day but those are all super healthy foods so unless you’re seeing other symptoms I’m not sure it’s necessary to stop them completely.

How is your UC doing, having any symptoms? The foods you listed could certainly change the color of your stool.

Take care.
