I've been dealing with some kind of eczema/dermatitis/psoriasis on the palms of my hands the whole year. I think it resembles Dyshidrotic eczema, but mine doesn't itch. I think it's a very mild form if it is that. It seems to go in cycles of appearing to get better and then appearing again. I saw my dermatologist back in February and he gave me Bryhali lotion to use. I used it every day for 3 months and it only seemed to keep the eczema from getting worse, but it didn't ever clear it up. I went back for a follow-up and he said use moisturizer after washing your hands because hand washing can be drying. Of course being in the midst of a pandemic, there is extra hand washing and cleaning happening. And of course when I saw him, the eczema was in the "looks pretty good" stage and he said to use the Bryhali when it's worse and cut back when it's better.
It's not the same as the rough patch of skin eczema I sometimes get on my arms in the winter. It has little pustules that can be tender and then it becomes cracked skin, which can be a little sore because some of it is right on the crease of where my pinkie meets my palm. It's an eyesore at best and annoying at worst.
I'm going to schedule another follow-up with my dermatologist, but the reason I'm posting this is I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with anything similar? I don't think it's medication related because I have been on Azathioprine since 2001 and when this issue first started, I had been on Entyvio for nearly 2 years.
