Anyone seen this documentary? In the largest study ever on a polutant in a human population, C8, a chemical used by Dupont in teflon, was proven to increase incidence of Ulcerative Colitis (among other diseases) in the population that was studied.

On Netflix. Scary stuff.

Just to hand-wave all documentaries on Netflix as not trustworthy is not the way to go.

Here is the study on residents of the Ohio River Valley where Dupont dumped water runoff from production of PFOA (C8). The residents won a class action suit and used all of the proceeds to find the largest study of it's kind. I suggest people watch and draw their own conclusions.

Well let me rephrase - having watched a couple of Netflix "documentaries" that were absolute pseudoscience, I do not trust or respect a media outlet that distributes such materials, and cannot place trust in anything else that they broadcast as a result.

Of course everyone is free to watch what they want and draw their own conclusions.

I don't use teflon either.
