Hi all,
I was prescribed gabapentin (neurontin) for nerve pain and so far it's making me sleepy (took only 2 times). I couldn't find any info on UC and gabapentin and don't want to take anything that could make me flair. I had more loose stools today than usual so not sure if random. Does anyone with UC have experience with gabapentin?

Gabapentin is fine for people with IBD, I have crohns. The drowsiness generally goes away within 2 weeks. I've been on it for over a year now & it's helped my nerve pain a great deal. Drs start patients off at a low dose. I hope it helps you.
