How long for Humira to work?

Hello! I started Humira near the end of last month. My UC symptoms haven't improved. Still cramping, bleeding, and passing unformed stools frequently. How long does it usually take for Humira to induce remission?

You should get an initial response in 6 weeks if you're going to. about 65 percent of us respond to any given biologic.

When I started Humira back in 2016, I clearly remember it was week 8 for me.
It was like a switch went off inside me. Very loose day after day....Then bam... remission the next. It was not a slow transition.

I remember it so clearly, because I was so frustrated and depressed. And I kept calling my GI. Saying we need to try something else. And they kept saying “8 weeks”...and at least in my case...they were right.
