Hi team,

Always meeting when we are at our lowest, eh? Quick survey here and request for help:

Started Stelara 3 weeks ago after failing Humira. 7 month flare. And I am improving! Only issue, as with us all it seems, is persistent morning clustering and urgency. Just morning, but lasts 1-2 hours.

Doc suggested Canasa suppositories to heal that pesky last part of the rectum. Took one Saturday night and it BLEW MY GUT OUT. I bolted to the bathroom at 3 am with explosive black D, continued all night, and as of today - Tuesday - still having issues. (No dietary problems, have not eaten anything wild even during Super Bowl!)

I have used the enemas with no problem at all in the past. Both mesalamine and steroid.

Anyone else have this issue? Resolve? What did you eat? This has set me back to status before the Stelara and I am not happy.

I would say try it again because it could have been a one-off.

If it's an obvious issue, maybe try steroid supps.

Sounds like an unrelated bout of stomach virus.
