What’s new is a hot hard swollen gland near my jaw.
Is this something I should be concerned about? Do you know if this could be a side effect any of the drugs I’m on? They are all in my signature.

I’m also cramping and passing blood again. Which happens nearly every time something even remotely stressful happens and my husband’s mother was just hospitalized with Covid.

(We both work from home, have everything delivered, haven’t been exposed to anyone for about a year now.)

This does not sounds like it would be medication related. It sounds more like maybe an abscessed tooth, you have an infection going on in your glands . I would call my gp in the morning, do a telemedicine appt if you have to. Odds are good you will need an antibiotic. I am finishing up round of doxycycline for a bad sinus infection. I bought some Florastor so it didn't give me problems.

Don't ignore this. Take care.

Doctor can’t even virtual see me till next Monday.
Dentist said come right in, xrayed, looks good, but wrote me up amoxicillin and let him know.

Teeth look good.
Sinuses and glands look “angry”.

So glad the dentist took care of you! I am prone to sinus infections & have had a gland on the right side do this. If you are not on a probiotic, get some Florastor (OTC) at any pharmacy & you should be fine. It's a little over $30 but well worth it.

I have to schedule a sinus series xray but between the snow/ice & bitter cold I'm waiting on the great thaw. I live in Texas & we've been slammed, -1 this morning.

You sure it’s just not you’re submandibular gland ? I was worried I had swollen gland too but it was just the submandibular gland and you can usually feel both on each side of throat under jaw
