Started Entyvio last fall, and although I was in a decent remission (with lots of mesalamine), I now feel like I don't have U.C.
I started Entyvio while I was doing fairly well because I did not want to take prednisone again. Hopefully this amazing remission lasts for a very long time. It's nice to be able to go about my daily business without worrying about U.C.

I think it took me about 4 months to have complete symptom relief although a colonoscopy at that time showed microscopic inflammation. A later colonoscopy showed complete remission.

I too was on Remicade and did GREAT. Then due to antibodies, switched to Humira with no good results. Went to Entyvio and after about a month or two...forgot....I've pretty much been in full remission. Just be patient at first as it might not be immediate. Good luck

Hello Vinny,

You may want to check out the Entyvio Warriors FB group. I am not on Entyvio but believe I may be on my way there sooner or later. I joined the group to learn more about people’s experience with it. Joint pain seems to be common among some but all suggest hydrating really well before infusions and asking for saline during. Might be worth checking that group out for more suggestions. Good luck to you. It seems many have found great, long lasting remission with it, although it may take some time to get there.

I’m one who’s found great remission on entyvio. 4 years now. No side effects. No joint pains. Eat pretty much what I want. I wish the same for you!!!!
