I got completely off when i switched to xeljanz... that said, my friend's husband came off it after 5 years in remission and is still doing well after a couple of years on no meds.

I wouldn't know haha.... he will probably flare sooner or later. It did feel great to come off azathioprine when I switched to xeljanz though.

I’m curious to know why you switched from aza to xeljanz since I’ve been on aza for some time now. Was it because xeljanz is known to have less long term side effects or something else? And yeah would be great to get off all meds completely. smile Thanks.
