Proctitis inflammation

I have UC and proctitis with my UC. Went to the Er on the 11th because I’ve been having trouble urinating after a bowel movement, which are pretty painful. It’s causing spasms in my gut and my bladder. I know there’s a connection there between the 2. I go for many hours before I can get the pain and spasms to calm before I’m finally able to urinate all the way. It’s also causing me to have extreme anxiety and panicky feelings. Right now I don’t have a GI to see but I do have a virtual appointment on Thursday the 23rd. The only thing that’s been helping with my pain is tramadol. I’ve been taking bentyl for the spasms. And Xanax for the anxiety/panic. I don’t have prescriptions for the tramadol or Xanax but some I had leftover. I have extreme constipation have for many years and have to take linzess and other laxatives just to go to the bathroom. The bladder issue is bothering me so bad that I have practically starve myself so I don’t have to poop so I’m able to actually pee. I pretty much eat like every other day. I do have hydrocortisone enemas and suppositories. Been using the enemas since last Thursday but I can only use like a fourth of it at a time or I can’t retain it. I have been using both though not at the same time. I also have leftover uceris and prednisone. I had a ct scan done and my urine tested which was normal at the ER. The CT scan showed thickening of my sigmoid colon. I really would appreciate some advice and some help from those of you that have been there and done that.

Diagnosed November 2014
Previous meds: Lialda, Prednisone, Uceris, mesalamine enemas and suppositories. Don’t do well with anything mesalamine, seemed to cause more diarrhea and urgency. Tried Humira in 2016 for 2 months. Discontinued because after each injection more of my body was covered in a rash. Eventually it was from head to toe and even in my privates. Did entyvio from May 2016 through February 2017. Helped great except with the proctitis, healed my whole colon. Had diarrhea on it and more prone to accidents, it caused anxiety attacks and rash in armpits pretty much the whole time. Tried remicade last summer did 3 loading doses, too many side effects had to quit. Also the remicade caused prednisone to become ineffective. Haven’t had any maintenance meds since.

Good luck with a virtual appointment, but with all you have going on you need a face-to-face with a GI, and a bunch of tests, pronto!

Be very careful self medicating, especially with old Rx's. They could be causing you more harm than good. Tramadol, for instance, is a synthetic opioid, and acts on the central nervous system. It's a very strong painkiller, and can be extremely addictive.

Please be careful and get to a gastroenterologist fast.

Sorry, I can't locate your "down below".

Don't know here you live but persistence pays off. Keep calling, go sit in their office, call it an emergency...which it sounds like it is, or, at a last measure, go to an emergency room. This is no time to be tolerant of an irresponsible GI doc, or to be needlessly polite, IMHO, of course.

Sorry been having issues, been to ER, they found a UTI. They didn’t do anymore testing than a bladder scan and urine sample.
But you were mentioning that I needed to have a bunch of different test, that is what I was asking about. I have no idea what kinda tests to even ask for. I was assuming you might have some kinda ideas on what kinda tests I might need. If so please let me know some ideas.
