Hello. Johns Hopkins is doing a free study of vaccine effectiveness on COVID antibodies for vaccinated people with IBD. You are eligible if you haven't had your booster yet. Apparently you get bloodwork prior to and then again after booster. I don't have any further details than that.

Register at https://vaccineresponse.org

and contact the coordinator at covidibd@gmail.com

Interesting. I’m going for my 4th dose in February.

4th dose? I hadn't heard anything about that yet.

I had my 3rd dose in August so too late for me to join the Hopkins study. I am part of the UNC study and had my antibodies checked 3 months after my 1st dose and again 2 months after my 3rd. Levels went from a measly 3 to 32 after the 3rd dose. I think I will be getting another test in Jan/Feb. My 3rd dose was approx 6 months after the 2nd. I think it might be that we need boosters every 6 months until Covid dies down.

I posted the news last month. It is 6 months after your 3rd dose. https://www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=38&m=4269527

We’re having a hard enough time convincing the tin foil hat crowd to get their first doses.

I've never had my antibodies check. I should do that but I've been so busy. My regular PCP's office doesn't check antibodies and they make you go to their main office. I just don't have time to drive there and wait.

My neighbours ordered some home antibody tests online, a bit like a covid self test except you take a finger prick and put a drop of blood in it. You don't get a number but the darkness of the line (if there is a line) indicates the antibody concentration. One time we had a party where we all checked our antibodies 🤣
