What are peoples experiences with using Predfoam; a steroid in foam form. How far up will it get in the colon?
(Thanks to those who offered advised to this newbie poster in my previous posts).

My GI gave me predifoam to use when my rectum was really inflamed and couldn’t hold a steroid enema.

I used it once 32 years ago...worked well, and then went back to Salofalk enemas.
As long as it covers the rectum and the sigmoid, it will do its thing.
What other meds are you on for UC?

My GI told me a story — he or his nurse or maybe the drug rep as an experiment let loose a shot of uceris foam, and he said it shot clear across the room. So by that example I’d say it travels pretty far up. I can feel it expanding when I use it and definitely feel it on my left side.
