Has anyone had experience with a bloated, or perhaps a swollen colon or small intestine or stomach push on the musculature or fascia in the area and cause pain? Or is this even possible?

Thanks

Logically both seem possible to me.

I had this. My entire intestine (what was left of it) was swollen. I found out later I was living with a twisted jpouch. I opted for jpouch repair and for this they brought up a stoma. When my stoma came out, it was 2 inches big. The biggest stoma I've ever had (I had 4). After a couple of weeks of healing it shrunk to a normal small intestine size. While it was swollen I was in pain every day. I couldn't get up from a sitting position without being in pain. I couldn't eat. I was unable to function. I didn't know my jpouch was twisted until they did the exploratory surgery in September.
