Can I use steroid enemas while on prednisone? Currently not using any rectal meds. Consult with my GI on the 14th. Trying to stay stable until I start the next medication

Do you have foam or liquid? Either can be very helpful, but I find the foam to be easier to retain during a flare. I really hope you start feeling better quickly.

I have the foam
Budenofalk. When I did use them I found them easiest to retain

That's great. Fingers crossed that they help. The liquid ones can be brutal to retain, but they are helpful too, and they tend to be a lot cheaper.

.
Held it in well last night. Down to 25mg pred. My stomach feels really Settled, less anxious. I definitely feel anxiety in my stomach when it’s not right. I don’t know what’s changed but the last two days have been good. I was on an antibiotic therapy for a month. They’re anti microbial and only target the bad bacteria. I’ve added some green banana flour to my smoothies. Whether this has started to feed my good gut bacteria idk but something has settled my gut and it’s not the steroids because I’m down from 35. I feel a lot calmer as well.
