Infusion + Covid booster timing?

It seems as if the info is a little grey, in that there isn’t a good standard for getting the Covid booster in conjunction w/Remi (Inflectra) infusions.

What have you all done?

My GI said as long as I was feeling well to do postpone my injection (stelara) for two weeks because my 2nd Pfizer does was due around the same time as my Stelara.

My GI said to wait at least 3 weeks after and 3 weeks before. He also said if possible to not take my methotrexate during that period.

I followed those suggestions but after 2 Pfizers and 1 full dose Moderna I still have 0 antibodies. We are hoping that a 4th shot will do the trick.

I don't think there is any set guidance. I had my 3rd dose about 10 days after my infusion and my 4th will be 8 days before my next infusion (20 days after my last infusion). Since I get infusions every 4 weeks it's hard to get the shots to be spread out more. It took me a long time to get to remission so I don't want to rock the boat and mess with my infusion schedule. Try to get the shot scheduled somewhere around half way between infusions would likely be your best bet.

I probably shouldn’t even post this. I took both Moderna vaccines. Decided not to take any boosters.
Smart decision who knows? I took every vaccine that could be had including hep Aand B recently. Waiting on the third one. My doc said I needed these. Recently took Shingles, flu, pneumonia, hep A and B.
Never hear about anyone getting the flu these day! Hummm

I've heard of some people in the hospital here tested positive for both the flu and Covid. Is that even possible to be infected with 2 viruses at the same time?

Got my booster yesterday (4th shot). Sore arm but otherwise ok.

Yep we can host multiple viruses. One theory regarding omicron is that it swapped some genetic material with a cold virus in an immunocompromised patient and that's what gives it its characteristics
