bizzare but genuine question.....ive been feeling yucky for some months now with low level bowel, joint and fatigue issue....my crp is reasonable and ive looked at lots of things to try and feel better...nothing has worked

i have noticed that when i have no clothes on...when im at home just chilling and not bundled up with fabric my joint pain is less and im much more calm and relaxed and less bloated....this seems totally crazy to me and i repeat again that it is a genuine question

is it possible to have some autoiummune reaction to certain fabrics, washing power used on those fabrics....or maybe mold related

I think tiredness and weakness can make one sensitive to what is on one’s skin. Like some fabrics feel too heavy or too irritating on the skin. I seem to remember having that sort of sensitivity when I was ill with flu or something. Try wearing simple cotton fabric and see if that makes a difference? They tend to be breathable

Try spending some time in a pool, with a bathing suit or not....

Just might help you answer some of your issues. Good luck!

I get it. I can't hardly tolerate having pants on after I eat, and sometimes even when I haven't eaten. For me I think it is just sensitivity related to an irritated Gastro system. I enjoy getting my loose fitting PJ's on in the evening. Actually, I am on steroids for a flare, so I am down to like 1 BM daily, and I hate it. It's ironic that I have dealt with diarrhea for 22 years now an d when I finally have "normal" BM's I can't tolerate it. I hate having anything in my colon.

I'm there with you. I bought very thin light PJs to change into when I get home...or if it's warm outside I walk around in my underwear...and when it really bad it's nothing on. I can't stand to have heavy clothes on me anymore. I have a pair of silk PJs with a very thin piece if elastic in the pants portion that's good... And a silk tent style dress thingy that hangs on me that I will wear around the house.

Do you suffer from heat intolerance? I do and it's much worse when I get overheated..so I will take cool showers. It helps sometimes. If I am in a flare....nothing helps and I can't have anything touching my abdomen--so out comes that silk tent thing. When I sleep its a fan and a thin silk sheet. Lol.

I thought it was just me. Glad you posted this question.
