Hi,
After each Humira injection if I bleed, which happens often, I wipe the area with a fresh cotton bud with alcohol on it. Maybe a stupid question but.. is there a risk that some of that alcohol enters the wound and messes up the Humira contents already injected and therefore not giving me the meds I need?

No, I often bled too after my injection. When the nurse did my loading injections I bled & she used alcohol wipes.

I doubt it but you could call the Humira nurse ambassador program and ask them. I would just put a small bandaid over mine.

I get an alcohol wipe in my box with my injection so it must be OK.

Yeah, that's to clean the area before you do the injection. They instruct you to make sure the area is dry before inserting the needle.

I always injected my thighs, never got the courage to do the stomach. There were times I had a tiny small drop of the medicine about the size of a head on a stick pin on my leg. My dr assured me this was ok too.

No, never got that instruction, methods might vary in different countries though.

I could be remembering wrong. Either way, I'm sure it's fine.

Because alcohol only sterilizes by evaporation, it won't sterilize an open wound because wounds are usually moist. Any drying effect on the wound will not be beneficial for it. It's better to use dilute hydrogen peroxide (3% or less), or saline.
