Hi

Saw this product at Sam’s. I seem to remember grass fed bone broth is great for us with UC and one of the main reasons is because of the collagen in it.

Anyone here with UC who has given this product a try?

I have used collagen supplements over the years. I find the powdered ones have a pretty strong after taste but the gummies don't. My experience with both the powders and drinking bone broth is that they make me want to poop as soon as I drink them. I have no idea why, but I also really don't like any meat-based soups.
I don't know if they help with my UC symptoms, but my hair and fingernails are in really good shape since I started using their gummies which do not make me want to poop right away!

I bought the item.

The Bobby Parrish FlavCity app gave it a thumbs up.

I put half a scoop (I think the directions say two scoops, but I’m always super careful whenever I try something new) into a fruit smoothie around dinner time yesterday.

No effect yet. We shall see. I’ll report if I notice any thing.

Thanks.

I put this in my smoothies when I was ill. I recently rediscovered it the other day and have been using it again. I’ve been putting it in my coffee or hot tea. Takes a lot of stirring to get it to dissolve but it doesn’t thicken the drink or have any flavor. Whether it helps or not — who knows! But I figure I might as well use it up and maybe it’ll help my hair and nails in the process. And it most likely won’t hurt!

I used to find this helpful a 4 or 5 years back. Since Nestle took over it has proved useless on both counts. I do feel like they have done something different to the formula. Have found the texture of the powder has changed too. So not such a great brand for me anymore.
