bloodshot eyes

Has anyone had bloodshot eyes as a complication of their UC? If so was it related to your flares and how did you manage it? Thanks

Charlie,

Is it blood shot throughout the entire eye or is it like a grouping in one area?.

I ask because I thought I had bloodshot dry eyes and after going to a special discovered it was Uveitis. They gave me special eye drops for it. It occurs when I am flaring. It's one of those extra intestinal symptoms we sometimes get.

Yes, I had this with my first flare up and went to my eye doctor who told me it was uveitis. He prescribed eye drops for me but I haven’t had an issue with it since that first flare up.
